The Six Remembrances...and More. Part 6:  Mount Sinai -  English only.   The Almighty commanded us to remember the day that we stood before Him at Mount Sinai. He told us that this command applies to all the days of our lives.  But it is not enough that we remember.  The Torah adds that we are to teach this to our children. Parshat Va'Etchannan Shabbat Nachamu - Comfort my people  -  English only.  Today's Torah portion begins with Moses pleading for permission to enter the promised land. God did not grant Moses' request.  How can we call this the Shabbat of Comfort when Moses, a man of humility, a faithful servant, was not given comfort?  August 13, 2022.
