Recorded June 26, 2021. The Almighty did not allow King David to build the temple because he was a man of war. David's son, Solomon, was given the honor because he was a man of rest. This was not just a poetic term, but a fulfillment of a prophecy in the writings of Moses. We see the same prophecy being fulfilled at the end of time in the Kingdom of Messiah.
